web3 is our chance to cleanly break from everything that went wrong with consumer technology over the past fifteen years.

It could be a reset from the myopic pursuit of growth, tracked by arbitrary metrics reducing complex humans with hopes & loves & dreams down to numbers that go up or down. We could leave behind the algorithmic timelines hiding what people came to see in favor of what is most likely to outrage them. In doing so, we could create the collective spaciousness to direct our outrage to those cynical few who boasted about borrowing techniques from casinos and gloated sell our most intimate data.
